SOFTWARE DEVELOPER
Global IQ is increasing its electronic data capture (EDC) expertise
for clinical research studies, and we currently have a position open for
an Intermediate Software Developer to work on our EDC product. We are looking
for a hardworking, self-motivated individual possessing strong analytical
and problem solving skills, who enjoys being challenged and is not daunted
by large projects and tight deadlines. Responsibilities include designing
and developing new modules, analyzing and correcting software anomalies,
and writing and executing testing scripts.
Preference will be given to candidates with programming experience using the Oracle Forms development suite and the PL/SQL language. Candidates with experience in other programming languages and a proven ability to learn quickly will also be considered.
CLINICAL STUDY EDC TEAM LEADER
Global IQ is increasing its electronic data capture (EDC) expertise
for clinical research studies, and we currently have a position open for
a Clinical Study EDC Team Leader. The position encompasses a large variety
of responsibilities, and is an excellent opportunity for someone looking
to become involved in many different aspects of clinical trials. Responsibilities
include: configuring electronic Case Report Forms, liaising between the
Software Operations team and the study project teams, liaising with clinical
study sponsors, liaising with study sites, and writing and deploying study
training manuals. The position is also responsible for managing the EDC
help desk staff.
The successful candidate must possess excellent written and verbal communication
skills, and must also be highly computer literate, able to master complex
computer software.
